I think Michael Cera is possibly the funniest little white boy in the world so when I heard that he and Ellen Page, aka Kitty from X-men, were making a movie together–i pinched myself to make sure i wasn’t dreaming. And then i saw it. What. Happened.

Weird. Odd. Bizarre.
I read this book because of how “liberating” and “progressive” and “forward-thinking” it allegedly was. Turns out, it wasn’t.

Baby Mama

I went to see Baby Mama on opening weekend with high hopes, not only because I was going to the movies, but also because I was going to a comedy starring two women. I was thrilled, my blood pumping with excited anticipation; mowing on popcorn like there was no tomorrow, and, unlike a number of my movie-reviewing fellows, I wasn’t disappointed. (more…)
