Quick Hit: Feminist Art Base

For those of you who are interested in feminist art, check out Feminst Art Base, the new online digital archive which draws from the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum. The first-of-its-kind digital archive showcases works, bios, artist statements and contact links to over a hundred innovative feminist artists from 1960 to the present. The archive is continually growing as Brooklyn Museum aims to digitize their collections allowing for greater access. It’s a fun way to learn more about an old favorite feminist artist, or to find something new. Go explore!
